This is the first time I've seen your face, I thought you would be a white girl with dark hair with thicc eyeliners with a very very dark academia style wardrobe. So weird I made that all up just from your voice and your art 😂

How did you end up finalizing your art direction for this comic? Like I have noticed you kept it in a watercolor paint style from the pages you posted. I am also trying to start my own comic for years now haha. It really is daunting to find my own style and stick with it, I constantly feel like it's not good enough. Do you have any advice regarding new comic authors? Like how did you find references, how did you pick the style that would suit your style. I'm also torn about if I want to do it in a comic page style or a scroll webtoon style. Do you have any thoughts regarding that? Personally I prefer the comic layout more, but I plan to post it somewhere where most people will read it on phone, so I'm kinda torn. I'm so proud of you for finally starting Gloamingvale aaaaaaa. I keep rereading the pages they're so worth the wait. You made them so sooo gorgeous. Every panel seems so well thought out, gosh it must've took you years to make them perfect just like your vision. Can't wait for more updatess

It’s been fun seeing the differences between IDF and Gloamingvale! (Also, you going through your books was such a trip down memory lane for me, since I have all of them (minus Prism) on my bookshelf and I can’t believe it’s been so many years since they first came out 🥲 Can’t wait until you ship out the newest one!)

hello, as a fellow artist, I would just like to say you don't have to be so critical of your work. your improvements now don't devalue the art you have made previously even if it doesn't live up to your expectations now. I'd be interested to know what your thought processes were when you made them and about the interesting decisions you made and how you would improve upon them today rather than what you don't like about them. you don't have to defend why you made something, once it spoke to you and that means it has the ability to speak to others so don't be so harsh on it. love your work

I know you've mentioned your artistic journey numerous times (including Prism), but I think you should make a video on why you chose to become an independent artist and not go into animation despite going to school for it.

your art is absolutely gorgeous, even these old sketches!! i look at your work a LOT because it really inspires me to keep trying traditional even though it something i struggle with. it kind of helps seeing art of yours thats so old because it reminds me how many years of experience you have in this and that i cant expect myself to be at the same place as artists who were at THIS skill level already at the time that i was. nine years old lol. thanks for showing these!!!

This is an amazing work, your blends are awesome, and the way you use the colors are amazing. I have to be honest, I've tried to search videos related to gouache techniques in the past, and never got yours in the search results, I had to use a different search criteria, which is annoying as your video perfectly qualifies for a GREAT Gouache use demonstration... RUclips tend to put in spotlight always the same 5 to 8 users, even if their videos are not specifically for the search criteria and they are NOT the best example. I know this has a year old, but I'll follow you to keep track of your work! Thank you for sharing!🎉
